Ultrasonic Water Meter

Widely used and trusted, sets the standard for durable residential and commercial metering and remote data collection.

About the product

What is Ultrasonic Water Meter?

The  Ultrasonic Water Meter, part of the wPrime™ Series, is designed for reliable domestic water metering in harsh environments where traditional meters fall short. Utilizing advanced ultrasonic technology, it ensures accurate, maintenance-free performance with no moving parts to wear out. Meeting Class D standards, it operates between 0.1°C and 60°C, supports high pressures up to 1.6MPa, and features a wide dynamic range for secure operation. Its large LCD provides real-time data, including flow totals and leakage alarms, while offering versatile remote readout options like M-Bus, LoRaWAN, and NB-IoT.

Modular Meter Design

The Ultrasonic Water Meter features a modern, compact, and robust design tailored for long-term performance in challenging environments. Its stainless steel or durable composite housing ensures resistance to wear, corrosion, and water impurities. With no moving parts, the meter eliminates mechanical failures, enhancing reliability and reducing maintenance. The large, clear LCD display is protected against condensation, ensuring easy readability even in high-humidity conditions. Engineered for flexibility, the meter supports multiple mounting positions and integrates seamlessly with advanced communication technologies for remote monitoring and data collection. This innovative design guarantees precision, durability, and user convenience in domestic water metering applications.

Advanced Ultrasonic Measurement Technology

The Ultrasonic water meter combines a brass flow sensor and an integrator to deliver precise, robust flow measurements. Using two ultrasonic transducers and internal reflectors, it measures water flow by calculating the transit-time difference between upstream and downstream pulses. Advanced digital signal processing and statistical algorithms ensure accuracy, even in the presence of solids or air bubbles. The patented flow-cell design enhances signal strength and minimizes interference, while the absence of moving parts eliminates wear and maintains long-term accuracy. By relying on transit-time differences, the system is unaffected by temperature, pressure, or water quality, ensuring reliable performance in all conditions.
